Four months, two weeks and three days!

That’s Raye’s San Japan Countdown! The progress is real slow, mainly because Lace, nor I, have the money to get the things we need too. I plan on going and Rukia, she as Matsumoto from Bleach.
Which we will soon, we just don’t yet. That’s driving me bonkers cause I want to work on it right now, but I can’t.

So currently we’re working on our props, since we can’t actually work on the costume right now. Moving has it’s advantages. Boxes~ At least the cardboard. 0o; It’s gonna be fun, but since I found a tutorial on how to make the kantanas with cardboard. [Cosplay.com = FTW!] And since both she and I had/are/were/is/am moving we have lots.

I had found a tutorial here on DA on how to make them out of wood, which might have actually been better but we don’t have the equipment we need to make that. Soo cardboard it is~

It really would have helped if we had more gluesticks around here. >>; Hot glue anyways…cause that stuff is luff. We had one stick though, so Dad’s going to the store and getting us more and one thing we didn’t actually have around the house. (It’s great that Dad use to be into all this stuff…0o; The garage is full of junk that Raye can make stuff with and have fuuun with~)

Smile DK is going to be the music guest, so Raye is real happy. X3 She’s always enjoyed them~ (>>; Okay so I do that third person thing when I’m like hyper too I guess… Vic Mignogna is gonna be there too.

It’s four months away but Raye is stoked for it. Maybe since it’s the one thing this summer that I can –do- and look forward too. Since I’m healing my neck, anything I’d want to do this summer I couldn’t (ie: Rollercosters, Shooting) but the con I can. Beside I’ve been waiting for San Japan for like a year now, since they end up post-poning it last year. Which works out great because we get time cosplay.

It’s the first cosplay I’ve gotten to do too, even if I had wanted to do it back in ’04. XP I was going to go to Oni-con as Inuyasha back then. I was good friends with Kat back then and she went as Songress Yuna for her first con.

Mew. Anyways, I think I’ll keep track of Con stuff here, as well as on Cosplay Lab and suck.
